A Mega Challenge
Death in Alternate Reality

He created alternate reality TV shows
Including “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
His DVD of talking field lilies
Still gives one the wavering willies.
His snow mobiles could fly
With music playing cross the sky
Pink Panthers hid in shadows deep
And disappeared without a peep
Lasagna sang frantic romance songs
Cigars replied by banging gongs
His reality was just not kind
How could he have been so blind
Grounds for divorce he surely had
His wife had been really bad
Aggravation filled his working mind
Salutations of the very wicked kind
He saw her dead upon the floor
Reality or something more?

The Maxi Challenge
Bad Dragon DVD

This week I am all upset. I saw a DVD made by one of those alternate reality companies, GFD ( Grounds for Divorce). It was supposed to be a look at how dragons lived in this age. It gave me nothing but aggravation. Those people wouldn’t know a dragon if a dragon bit them and I’m frantic enough to do just that. The show began with dragons eating lilies in a field. It would never happen. We will eat lilies if they are baked and served on lasagne in place of tomatoes but raw, NEVER!
Then there was the background music. It was okay for people in an elevator but it would have driven real dragons mad.
The stupidest scene on the DVD was the winter scene where the dragons simply stopped moving because of the cold. Dragons, I need to tell you, are snow mobile. Snow and cold may slow us down a bit but never stop us.
I have to wonder if the vampires are as upset by GFD’s DVD “ Return to Dark Shadows”. Some day the producers may wake up with vampire and dragon bites.
A dragon can dream can’t he.

  1. I loved the teasing poem this week, very clever (but then Dragons are clever aren't they?). There's nothing worse than misrepresentation, is there? Clearly these DVD makers did not consult you properly. You definitely should give them a nibble.

  2. Clever poem as always. I sympathize with you about the DVD. Mis and dis-information are so frustrating but seem to be all too prevalent these days in all areas of life. Maybe you can just give those GFD folks a good scare and "encourage" them to remake their film to be more accurate.

The snow seem things especially silly to me since, I'd think that dragons could just melt any snow that got in your way... Our snow is melting here, which makes me very happy. Have a lovely week.

  3. Okay Fandango...dragons eat lilies? Even on lasagne I would have never thought this. Hmmm I think you need to direct the movie and get all the dragon facts correct and then give them a bite just for good measure. Have a wonderful weekend :)

  4. I love the use of snow mobile! I guess the dragons are better off than the iguanas in Miami who were so cold they were dropping off the trees at the zoo (true story!)

    Well done DRAGONS!

  5. I feel for you with the DVDs.
    You should be a consultant.

  6. At least you set everyone straight on the un-cooked lilies. I liked these wordzzles.
