The Mega Challenge as a news release–
New Game coming
The Clue Club Game company is rushing to get a game ready for market that features a dancing Michael Jackson. They want it ready for the peak game season and hope it will be as big a success as its game “Blueberries on a Ladder.” that was the game that every time you completed a level an owl appeared and said “ Laugh and the world laughs with you”. The new game will be designed to run on a number of different structures including a computer being controlled from the keyboard. The dancing will be serious with none of this lampshade on the head table top stuff.
The company also announce that the release of its new game “Sober Knight” will be delayed because of a water leak at the warehouse which caused the spoilage of a large number of cartridges.
The Clue Club sells primarily through economy drugstore outlets.
The Ten Word Challenge
Dragon Revenge
Dragon Revenge
The great and all powerful Grand Master of the Loyal order of Dragons is very angry with the Salamander Lodge. It seems their leader some guy named Phrog has been spreading viscous rumors about dragons. Everybody knows that dragons are pure and sober at all times. One can not believe either Salamander or Knights saying things to the contrary. The dragon motto is laugh and the world laughs you but insult us and we will boil you alone. We understand the Salamanders are having a big Florida convention. Our Florida friends the owls are now watching for Phrog and if they see him they will inform us and we will swoop in and avenge our honor. It would be good if this was at the peak of their convention as they will learn never to insult dragons. When we finish with Phrog no drugstore will be able to put him back together. But now we need to light a candle in the feeding cave and put a glass lampshade over it. We jut received a text message sent from some keyboard that if we don’t hurry the spoilage of our blueberries will be significant.
'The dragon motto is laugh and the world laughs you but insult us and we will boil you alone.'
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to cross you dragons! LOL
Are those gooey (viscous) rumors that STICK? I'm glad the dragons have a strategy for those who mock them. I promise, I won't! A good way to use the words through that news release!
ReplyDelete:-D you always make me smile!
ReplyDeletePhrog is not worried. After all he is the all-powerful ruler of the Salamanders. But better safe than sorry. He is moving the Convocation to an undisclosed location (where there are no dragons or owls.. His new motto is "Catch me if you can!" And since Dragons are creatures of the past they will have difficulty finding him.
ReplyDeleteWonderful as always. I guess you do have a right to brag.
Oh dear -- I knew it. A war between the dragons and the salamanders was foretold over 3ooo years ago. The prophesy is carved into the ceiling of an underwater cave at the bottom of the black sea. The part that tells of the winner has eroded, but what is clear is that many on both sides will die.
ReplyDeleteDragons, I thought your mega this week was perfection. Very well done.
ReplyDeleteAs to the other, I understand that you are angry with Phrog, but I hope you will not eat him. I'm quite fond of him and I don't think he meant any harm. Perhaps it would be more effective to simply ask him to recant his statement. Chopping him into small pieces might make others more inclined to believe his erroneous statements (despite their untruth) whereas a civil discourse and a public correction on his part could be far more effective and perhaps bring about a union of your Orders which would be beneficial to both. Just a suggestion. You are Dragons and will do what you deem best.
Put me on the mailing list for whent he MJ dancer is ready. I want one. I love the dragons motto. I hope that phrog gets what's coming to him. I wanna attend his boiling. Don't let his warning throw you off Fandango...Lion's and Tigers and Salamanders...oh my Well written as usual :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your stories. I'm glad the dragons are standing up for themselves, but I hope they will let Phrog live. Perhaps scolding him severely would be enough.

Great stories. Am enjoying the feud. But scolding (as in a good dragon tongue lashing) would be preferable to scalding. Just this one time.
